Course objectives

By the end of the Grade 10 English course, you should be able to:

• listen to a variety of text and be able to:
• identify the main ideas,
• identify specific information,
• summarize a text,
• relate what you have heard to your own life.
• pronounce words and phrases correctly.
• use a wide range of expressions to communicate effectively about various issues and ideas with a reasonable degree of fluency and accuracy,
