MODULE DESCRIPTION
Welcome to Select Online Education! I trust you’re eager to delve into our Grade 12 Biology course. This comprehensive program encompasses six detailed units: the Application of Biology, Microorganisms, Energy Transformation, Evolution, Human Body Systems, and Climate Change. The course is structured into two modules: Module 1 covered the first three chapters that taken in first course , while Module 2 includes the remaining topics
Welcome to Module 2!
This module offers a basic overview of Grade 12 Biology. It covers three chapters: the Evolution, Human body system and climate change. Although online learning follows many of the same principles as traditional methods, it’s important to recognize the unique aspects of teaching and learning in an online setting.
In online courses, the interactions between instructors, course content, and students are shaped by factors like physical and social distances, different teaching technologies, and various cognitive, emotional, and motivational challenges and opportunities.
As you progress through this module, you will be prompted to consider the following key questions:
- Do my activities and assessments help students develop the key skills and competencies outlined in the course objectives?
- Have I designed the course activities and assessments to promote academic integrity?
- Are my assessments realistic, addressing real-world problems and challenges relevant to the discipline?
- Do all activities and assessments adhere to the principles of universal design for learning?
- Do the activities, including lab work, provide opportunities to engage students and build a sense of community in the course?
MODULE LEARNING OUT COME
At the end of this module, you will able to:-
- Analyze different views about the origin of life and evaluate views from a scientific explanations point of view
