Summary : Rational Equations and Rational Inequalities
- An Equation which is written in the form of $\frac{P(x)}{Q(x)} = 0$, where $Q(x) \ne 0 $ is called a rational equation
- An Equation which is written in the form of $\frac{P(x)}{Q(x)} >0$, $\frac{P(x)}{Q(x)} < 0$, $\frac{P(x)}{Q(x)} \ge 0$ and $\frac{P(x)}{Q(x)} \le 0$where $Q(x) \ne 0 $ is called a rational equation
- Rational inequalities involving polynomial expressions are solved in variuos techniques but the very basic one is applying the principle of multiplivcation of real number system.
